Visited the Philippines - Iwakami Lab

Stayed in the Philippines Los Baños from September 6 to 8, 2025.

I visited Filipino farmers and learned about the weed problems in the Philippines.

Also went to the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).

It seems that in the Philippines, Echinochloa crus-galli (barnyard grass) is often used as dried flowers.
